Big News: Jules Integrates with GitHub Issues!

We're thrilled to announce a significant upgrade to Jules: the ability to directly access and understand GitHub Issues! This has been a frequently requested feature, and we're excited to bring it to you.

What Does This Mean?

Now, when you're working with Jules, you can refer to specific GitHub issues, ask for summaries, get updates, and even (in future iterations) request actions to be taken on those issues, all through your natural language commands.

Imagine being able to ask:

• "Jules, what's the status of issue #123 in the main repository?"
• "Can you summarize the recent activity on bugs reported for the payment module?"
• "Are there any new high-priority issues assigned to me?"

This integration aims to make your workflow smoother by bringing vital project information directly into your development environment with Jules.

How It Works

Jules uses secure authentication to access publicly available information from GitHub repositories or private information from repositories you've granted access to. This allows Jules to fetch details like issue titles, descriptions, labels, assignees, and comments.
