The situation
Governance, risk and compliance is one of those domains where the tooling has lagged the stakes. In many South African organisations, risk registers live in spreadsheets, compliance evidence lives in email threads, and board reporting is assembled by hand each quarter. Promilezi saw the opportunity for purpose-built software, and needed an engineering partner who could turn a product vision into a shippable platform.
What we're building
ProSuite is a modern GRC platform built on Next.js and a cloud-native backend. The work is structured as an ongoing product partnership rather than a one-off project: platform architecture and foundations first, then modules delivered iteratively, each shaped in workshops with domain experts before a line of code is written.
The most recent focus is the risk management module, taking the workshop-driven design process from requirements through to working software, with the platform's shared foundations (authentication, organisational structure, reporting) doing the heavy lifting underneath.
Why it works
Product builds fail when the feedback loop is slow. This engagement keeps it short: workshops define each module, working software ships in increments, and the roadmap adjusts to what real usage teaches.
